The artist graduated from the Photography Department of Mimar Sinan University. He has taught courses as a lecturer at various universities. Since the early 2000s, he has been active in the field of contemporary art. In his works, he witnesses the subconscious intricacies and forgotten paradoxes of urban life through photography and video to create an urban memory. Forms of identity and representation; urban life and architecture; gaps and ambiguities between public and private spaces; remembering and forgetting in the context of social memory; acceptance and rejection; and the function and deactivation of public creativity constitute the main axis of his works.
