Born in Ankara in 1993, Özge Tan graduated at the top of her class in 2016 from Anadolu University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Ceramics, where she began her undergraduate studies in 2012. She completed her master’s degree at the same university in 2019. In the same year, she began a Proficiency in Art (practice‑based doctoral) program in the Ceramics Main Art Department at the Anadolu University Graduate School of Fine Arts, which she is currently pursuing.
She held her first solo exhibition in 2016 and her second in 2020, and has participated in group exhibitions both in Turkey and abroad. Her awards include the İlhan Karaca Special Prize at the 10th International Muammer Çakı Ceramic Competition; First Prize (Ceramics) at the İstiklal Yolu Visual Arts Competition; and an Achievement Award (Artistic Category) at the 9th International Gizemfrit Ceramic Competition.
Tan works as a Research Assistant in the Department of Ceramics, Faculty of Fine Arts, Anadolu University, and continues her practice in Eskişehir.
